QReserve Release 2205.03: Introducing Templates

Introducing Reservation Templates!

• Running a strict schedule? Make your life easier with Templates! As an administrator or moderator, use the new Template tab when creating a reservation to build a placeholder that can be grabbed by a user in a single click! Choose to restrict reservations to templates only (under Time Restrictions) and take full control of your calendar! We are very excited to see the potential this new feature will unlock for you! • Sites can now choose to Cancel on Deny so that when a reservation is denied by an approver, the reservation is cancelled and thus cannot be "re-approved" in the future. This is useful when using templates that should re-open upon a reservation denial. This option defaults to Off for existing sites and On for new sites moving forward.
• When a reservation script raises a new conflict exception, the custom text will show on kiosks.
• Reservations will only be shown as Paid if linked invoice line items are the same date as the reservation date. This helps better align invoices and reservations when complex edit histories, especially with recurring reservations, are used.

• Creating an invoice from reservations would incorrectly set the invoice item date based on the UTC start time of the reservation instead of the site local timezone.
• Automatic invoices were not working correctly for requests.
