QReserve Release - 2210.02 - Organize!

Our kitchen was recently infested with flour moths and it was absolutely horrible trying to figure out where they came from.  We did a complete sweep of the entire kitchen and emptied every container we had. While we still don't know the originating source, we did end up putting all of our pantry items into resealable containers and now everything is so organized - I love it. This QReserve release includes a new ability to specify a folder structure of resource display categories to make your site just as organized as my kitchen!

Example of sub-categories.
Display categories now support sub-categories!
  • Display Category Folders: Simply add a / in your display category to create a tree structure that better organizes your resources on your site page. It's that simple!
  • Portal Level Accounts for Spending: Multi-site organizations can now create accounts at the portal level for users to spend out of within each site to pay invoices!
  • You can now set a resource to Automatically Check In to support check out only workflow.
  • Web embeds can now include public rates and required credentials of resources by listing those items in the Resource Properties to Show option.
  • Invoice exports will now duplicate void invoices with a void (debit) invoice that has the total value negated to ensure totals add up correctly.
  • Live maps now work even better with weekly slots. If your filtered time overlaps multiple available slots, the resource will still show as available and then give the option to select a slot.
  • Quotes can now be generated directly from a project.
  • If enabled from Site Settings, resources with weekly slots can be booked in multi-resource reservations. This workflow is only recommended when resources all share the same slots.
  • The Join Site button is now more obvious to users who are not yet a member of your site.
  • Adding resources to a kiosk will now mirror the options of the previously added resource automatically.
  • Events that are at capacity now have a waitlist to notify people when a slot opens up.
  • Font styles should be improved in older versions of Outlook.
  • Importing resource CSVs with credential requirements now supports portal level credentials.
  • Sites with no requestable resources will no longer show a requests icon on the dashboard to administrators.
