Happy Thanksgiving to our American friends!  While Canadians celebrated Thanksgiving last month we still have so much to be thankful for right now including this major update to your QReserve platform that I am so excited to tell you about!  So let's get to it.

Keyboard navigation is now greatly improved with focus highlights and easier access to categories, resources, and reservation windows.
  • Keyboard navigation and accessibility features have been greatly expanded when tabbing between elements (now highlighted) or opening new windows (next tab moves to correct position). Calendar pages also support new shortcuts to create a reservation (Ctrl + R) or jump to a date (Ctrl + J).
  • User Groups now support customizable colours to easily visualize and distinguish groups.
  • User Groups can now allow fellow group members to view the reservation details of each other even if your resources are set to hide reservation details from others. A great feature for companies or groups that share responsibilities!
  • Day view calendar modes can now have the start and end times limited to a site wide default if overnight times are never accessed. Set up in Site Settings.
  • Sites can now set up a default calendar day instead of the default of today. This functionality is great when you are utilizing QReserve for specific events!
  • Administrators can access additional view options on Resource Maps pages including resource colour and user group colour overviews (based on a user group prefix such as Type:Staff).
  • Resource listings on your site page can now be displayed in a random order to reduce bias towards lower alphabetically sorted resources. Set up in Site Settings.
  • For added screen utilization, the left menu on desktops can now be collapsed down to single icons and content in the app will take up more horizontal space.
Make user groups stand out with custom colours and within group reservation detail visibility.
  • Reservations on your dashboard now display the date in larger, easier to read text.
  • Payments table now reports both a payment received date and a payment recorded date.
  • Invoices generated by the system through a subscription or trigger are marked with a robot icon.
  • Loanable resources can now set a custom message for loan returned emails (similar to reservation approved/pending/cancelled emails).
  • Maintenance records are now sorted newest on top by default.
  • Resource map editing now uses resource search boxes instead of non-searchable dropdowns.
  • Timeline views will be rendered with full height to reduce the level of scrolling required to access resources.
  • Portal user import has been extended to support portal level credentials.
  • Project load times are improved and a quick search option has been added to quickly find projects by name or description.
  • Requests that have been Denied by an approver will now be displayed in the requests table.
  • User groups are now searchable when managing users or groups.
  • Kiosks with check-in and check-out enabled will properly check in and out of multi-resource reservations even if those resources have in-app check-in and check-out disabled.
  • Large activity reports could sometimes not be forced to load in the browser.
  • Setting your location autocomplete window could be shown in the wrong location.
  • Unable to select a secondary site contact from existing users.
  • Clicking and draging month view calendars for day mode resources could select the wrong end date.
  • Total price was now being displayed when viewing reservations with multiple resources.
  • URLs entered into form responses would be cut off if they contained a dash or some other special characters.
