Changing My Email Address

How to Add a New Email Address

  1. Navigate to your My Profile page. You can usually find this in the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on the Notification Settings tab.
  3. Scroll down to the Email Address section. Here you will see your current email address(es) listed along with their status (e.g., "Verified Primary Email").
  4. Click the Add Email button located on the right side of this section.
  5. A prompt will appear. Enter the new email address you wish to add.
  6. A verification email will be sent to the new email address you just added. Check the inbox for that email account.
  7. Open the verification email and click the verification link or follow the instructions provided within the email.
  8. Once verified, the new email address will appear in the Email Address list on your profile, typically marked as a "Secondary Email".
  9. To make your new email address your Primary Email, click the Make Primary button next to it.

Important Notes:

  • Only the email address marked as Primary will receive emails and notifications from the platform.
  • Secondary emails serve as alternative login options or can be promoted to primary.
  • To change which email receives notifications, you can promote a verified secondary email by clicking the Make Primary button next to it in the Email Address list.
